If you want to protect yourself from the COVID-19 pandemic here are a few tips from the Saskatchewan Health Authority:

  • Cover your coughs and sneezes
  • Wash your hand with soap and water
  • Avoid sharing household items such as utensils, cups and towels
  • Clean and disinfect common areas once a day
  • Avoid Crowds and vulnerable people.

Some of the symptoms may include fever, cough and difficulty breathing. If you feel you may have contracted the virus, contact the 8-1-1 Healthline and monitor your symptoms for 14 days.

If you are in self-isolation:

  • Do not go to work, school or any public areas.
  • Cancel or reschedule appointments
  • Do not take public transit
  • Ask family or friends to drop off food and groceries

Self-isolation should take place for 14 days if you’ve been in close contact with anyone with COVID-19 and those who have contracted the virus but are well enough to stay home.
