Buses filled with hockey players from across western Canada will be rolling in today, as Moose Jaw prepares to play host to the Western Canada Under-16 Challenge Cup. The tournament starts Thursday at Mosaic place with two games a day until Sunday evening.

Hockey players, coaches, scouts, family, friends and fans from across the country will be here for the next five days and Director of Business Operations for the Moose Jaw Warriors Corey Nyhagen says hosting this tournament is a tremendous economic opportunity for the Friendly City.

"Everybody is housed right here for the entire tournament. They are staying here, sleeping here, eating here and families are shopping here so it's a great thing for the community."

Teams will be representing Saskatchewan, Manitoba, BC and Alberta with eight games in total. Weekend passes and day passes are available at the Mosaic Place box office.
