Earlier this week, amongst all the concern over COVID-19 and the economic struggles it brings, a local business is dealing with theft and vandalization.

The theft occurred Monday evening at the Hillcrest Golf Club. Jasmine Cameron is the General Manager

"It happened at the Hillcrest sort of behind where our maintenance area is. We had two of our sheds broken into and vandalized, along with several pieces of equipment, supplies, some of our chemicals. Our gas tank was also vandalized, the locks were cut, the hose was cut and our gas was taken."

"Its a very unfortunate situation obviously, no one wants to see that happen. We're still trying to figure out 'Why'."

The Hillcrest Golf Club does have video surveillance of the culprits, and are currently working with the Moose Jaw Police Service to try and identify them.

If you have any information on the incident, you are asked to call the Moose Jaw Police Service.

The golf club also announced that they will be postponing their AGM - which was scheduled for April 1 - to a later date not yet determined.
