The passing lanes on Highway 2 north of Moose Jaw were fully open to traffic, Tuesday.

Steve Shaheen, the Senior Communications Consultant for the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure, said that construction to secondary Highway 202 is still in progress.

"The contractor's doing some notching and widening and will be raising the grade for about one kilometre," said Shaheen.

Campers to Buffalo Pound Provincial Park this weekend can expect a temporary detour in place on 10 Mile Road. Highway 301 is also still fully accessible.

Shaheen said that construction of the 202 is expected to wrap up sometime next week.
