You see the work they do every time you enter the park but who are they? That's something they want to work on as the Crescent Park Foundation looks to increase their profile in Moose Jaw.

The group has been quietly working in the background for over 45 years, helping to improve the park with features, trees and overall ascetics including the stone entrance ways. Recent vandalism in the park has highlighted their involvement in keeping the area looking great, in addition to the work that city staff do every day.

Dr Fred Wigmore and his fellow foundation members are hosting a fundraiser dinner on September 20th with a dual purpose. "This fundraiser is a fundraiser but it's also an exposure of the foundation."

"When we've gone as a group to ask for sponsorships, it's been an absolutely passionate response to how much people want to have this park improved, how much they care for this park."
