A popular idea being shared on social media throughout the city is 'Hearts for Healthcare', an idea where you place a red paper heart on your door for the healthcare workers who are still going to work amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Moose Javian Sharon Church decided she would contribute to the 'appreciation campaign' by getting her kids to make some of the door decorations in their free time as they're stuck home from school.

"We made hearts and we wrote 'Thank You' on them and we taped them to our front door. We just talked about how while we're all staying at home, healthcare workers are all going into work taking care of the sick. They are the front lines, they are doing what they need to do to keep us safe and healthy."

"I think its such a great idea! I would love for all of the Moose Jaw healthcare workers, while they're driving to work, wouldn't it be awesome if they could see tons of hearts on our windows and our doors."

Not only will making the hearts give you and the little ones something to do during self-quarantine, it could really show local healthcare workers how much Moose Jaw residents appreciate the work they are doing every day during these unprecedented times.
