An H1N1 outbreak has been reported at the K + S Potash Canada Legacy site south of Bethune.

Health Minister Dustin Duncan says once case of the influenza virus has been confirmed at the Legacy site, and it's been reported that a 2nd person is being tested.

There have been signs posted at the camp telling workers to advise supervisors if they have flu-like symptoms.

H1N1 is a respiratory virus normally found in pigs, but can be transmitted to humans. Symptoms of the highly contagious disease include fever, sore throat, running nose, muscle pains, headache, coughing and fatigue.
