Despite all of the water laying around, grass fires are becoming a concern.
On Sunday, there were three grass fires that the Moose Jaw Fire Department has responded to. The first was Sunday morning along the Manitoba Expressway, there was another Sunday afternoon between the old Ross School and the Hillcrest Golf Course with a third being reported on the outskirts of the city near 24th Avenue NW.
There was minimal damage in each case and so far no word on the cause.
