As Coronavirus continues to spread worldwide, Saskatchewan public health has announced new travel guidelines to protect residents from the disease.

Anyone who has travelled to Hubei, China in the last 14 days are asked to self-isolate at home for 14 days after leaving the area and continually monitor for symptoms of Coronavirus including cough, fever and difficulty breathing.

The same guidelines are in place for anyone who has come into close contact with someone sick with Coronavirus.

If you have travelled to an affected area in the world in the past 14 days but show no symptoms, public health recommends monitoring your health 14 days after leaving the area.

As of Thursday, there have been no lab-confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Saskatchewan.
