The government is asking for 26 individuals to fill volunteer public representative positions on a number of health professional councils.

Health Minister Jim Reiter said having the general public in these positions is another important way to put the patients best interest first.

They're asking for volunteers to be able to commit to 4-12 days a year for meetings in Regina, Saskatoon and other locations around the prairies.

If you have experience volunteering with boards or committees and relevant skills to the position the government is asking you to apply. Those wishing to would need to submit a resume by October 10th.
