Four new police officers were sworn into the Moose Jaw Police Service on Friday afternoon at the newly-renovated Peacock Collegiate Centennial Auditorium.

The recruits, Dustin Caplette-Tarrant, Gradyn Childerhose, Sarah Kristy, and Calee Sawyer will now spend the next 20 weeks at the Saskatchewan Police College.

The next step in training will be 'grueling' for the recruits but, Mayor Fraser Tolmie, chairman of the Board of Police Commissioners, reminded them that the police service wants to help them succeed.

Judge Brian Hendrickson officially swore in the recruits at the ceremony.
