Over 100,000 LED Christmas lights have been strung over a one-kilometre stretch in the valley to bring Christmas cheer in December.

Wakamow Winter Wonderland Valley lights will be up from Dec. 6 to 31 from 5 to 9 p.m. each night.

Admission is a $10 per vehicle donation that goes towards beautifying the valley.

This is the first year Wakamow will put this event on, and the goal is to grow the event and build a tourist attraction for the city.

The event is still looking for sponsors. Any businesses that are interested in sponsoring the event can contact Todd Johnson at the Wakamow Valley Authority office.

Below are photos from last night's light show.
