Thanks to Margaret Galloway and the many others who sent photos Thursday night

You probably saw them, if not, you likely know someone who did.  Funnel clouds south of Moose Jaw Thursday afternoon had a lot of people snapping pictures and talking out it.

Right now, there has only been one confirmed funnel cloud with some suspected others.  There was no weather watch or warning at the time, not even an alert or special weather statement.

Callers to our newsroom told us the funnel started just south of the city and moved to the north east, finally disappearing near Kalium Road.  No touchdowns have been confirmed although one caller told us there was some dirt being kicked around at one point.

We've collected about 10mm of rain as a result of the storm system that's expected to last through Friday morning. A rainfall warning was issued for the southeast corner of the province this morning with up to 80mm expected for areas around Estevan, Weyburn and up to Yorkton.
