Four women have been relocated from Valley View Centre to a Clare Parker Homes group home location in Regina.

Residential supports are being provided to the women, and the provincial government is providing over $460,000 in annual funding for the home.

In a media release, the provincial ministry of social services said their disability strategy creates residential services for people with disabilities.

The provincial government provides $3.7 million in annual funding for Clark Parker Homes to provide residential supports for those with intellectual disabilities.

By the end of December, all residents will have been moved out of the facility that has been in existence since the 1950s.
