A 74-year-old man has been arrested in relation to a missing persons case.

After Gravelbourg's Claude Landry was reported missing July 13, fellow Gravelbourg resident Robert Arams was arrested on Saturday.

He has been charged with:

First Degree Murder, Sec. 235(1), Criminal Code Indignity to a Body, Sec. 182(b), Criminal Code

He will be appearing in Regina Provincial Court on July 23 at 9:30 a.m.

Police report the investigation is ongoing.

Arams made his first appearance in Regina provincial court Monday, and was transferred to Moose Jaw at the request of his attorney, where he will be held in custody for a court appearance Tuesday morning.
