It could have been a lot worse had it not been for amazing volunteer efforts and the hard work of local emergency crews.  Moose Jaw Police and firefighters are investigating after a very large fire Sunday morning on Wolfe Avenue.

The fire broke out at Crestview Housing Cooperative around 10 am and quickly spread to several of the apartments.  Photos from eye witnesses show flames shooting out the side of the building. Firefighters were able to battle the blaze from the outside and also make an attack from the inside, helping to keep it from spreading to the rest of the building.

Police helped residents find safety and organized support with the help of the Red Cross and The First Baptist Church.  Luckily, no one was hurt but there was extensive damage and the cause is still under investigation.
