Environment Canada issued a heat warning for a larger portion in the southern half of the province late last week and it continues to be in effect.

The City of Moose Jaw and surrounding RMs were also under a severe thunderstorm watch as another system rolls in.

Meteorologists say this adverse weather could create strong winds, heavy rain and even has the potential to produce hail.

Along with precipitation and wind gusts, we could see trees topple over, light furniture moved around and water pooling on roads.

Not only is there a chance for a severe thunderstorm, but there's also a tornado watch spread over a portion of the province including the city of Moose Jaw.
