Riverside Mission hosted an Easter meal last Thursday, the meal was a fundraiser and was open to the public.

All funds raised at the meal went towards covering the cost of the meal, and any funds that went over and above that went towards Riverside Mission programming.

Chaplain at Riverside Mission Jacob Oddie, explained what the evening was like. "So our clients would come in, we'd sit them down. Instead of them coming up to be served like they usually do, we served them; and we served them a restaurant style meal."

The menu that night consisted of a choice of caesar or tossed salad, roast beef or stuffed pork loin, and black forest or cheesecake.

Oddie also added that the cost of the meal was covered and went on to say, "We wanted to give a thank to everyone who supported the Easter meal"
