The Downtown Facility and Field House Board is looking for another member, again.

Not only is there a vacant seat of where the current Parks and Recreation Manager is supposed to be sitting, which is being filled by City Manager Jim Puffalt, but they also recently had one of their non-City employee members resign.

Dave Depape is no longer on the DFFH Board, and it was made clear during Thursday afternoon's meeting at Mosaic Place that the time commitment was the biggest issue Depape had according to other members.

The next step for the team in charge of Yara Centre and Mosaic Place is searching for another person. They decided advertising was the way to go with very clear expectations attached to the position's listing.

There followed a brief discussion about upcoming performances at the downtown facility, as well as an update on the rink upgrades and the future of the boards and glass that they will no longer be needing. Shortly after that the meeting move to in-camera discussions and media was no longer able to sit in.
