The Downtown Facility and Fieldhouse Board has been a hot topic in Moose Jaw following a mishandled investigation into employee complaints that resulted in the board being disbanded and the council representatives sanctioned for their actions. But the conversation will be moving towards the facilities themselves as City Hall attempts to right the ship.

City Manager Jim Puffalt is now the interim general manager and has said that he wants to try to attract more events to the facility, whether that's concerts or sporting event or shows. A report will go to councillors November 13th as Puffalt explains his plans for the future.

"It's going to be how we're going to manage these facilities, what's the governance structure gonna be like, what's the input and communication with council... you know, the whole pie," said Tolmie. "I think that's what council really wants to have."

Tolmie went on to say they want the best for the community and they will continue to work on that.
