Several communities in southern and west central Saskatchewan could be left without power overnight as SaskPower deals with outages as a results of Monday's storm.

According to SaskPower, parts of Lucky Lake, Beechy, Assiniboia, Gravelbourg, Elrose, Kyle, Coleville, Eatonia, Whitebear, Shaunavon, Maple Creek and Macklin are expected to be without power overnight. Communities that are without an estimated time of repair will be updated by SaskPower on their website and Twitter feed as to when service will be restored.

As of 8:30 p.m. on Monday, SaskPower was dealing with 130 outages, leaving 14,500 customers without power. The SaskPower Outage Centre field over 9,000 called as of 4:30 p.m. due to the extreme weather.

If you are experiencing a new outage or notice that an area hasn't been reported as an outage, call 310-2220 or report it at saskpower.com.

If anyone comes across the downed power line, SaskPower asks you to stay clear of the damage by at least 10 metres or about 30 feet and call the outage line or 911 if it is an emergency.
