Storm clouds roll in over Lake Diefenbaker Saturday

That certainly wasn't needed as southern Saskatchewan is now dealing with a massive amount of rain.  It wasn't like the other storms this summer though were all the rain was dropped at once but rather over the course of near 48 hours of straight rain.

There has been nearly 50mm here in Moose Jaw and counting since the rain moved in on Saturday with 53mm in Regina, 41 down in Assiniboia and nearly 40 in the southeast.

This will definitely set back harvest operations that were just starting to get underway.  The latest crop report shows 1% of this year's harvest work has been done.  The rain fall this weekend just might keep the machinery in the shed for most of the week although the warmer weather is expected to return starting Tuesday.
