You could be getting a call in the coming weeks, asking your opinion on the continued transition to curbside garbage collection.  

You may recall that the city started to change over to curbside last summer after a budget decision in the spring. Push back from the community and a list of new criteria approved by council, made the full implementation difficult so the project was put on the back burner.

City of Moose Jaw Communications Manager Craig Hemingway explains they've hired Insightrix Research to do the survey for $10,000. "We would really like people to not hang up and think that it's a telemarketing scam. Please answer the phone and we do value the information."

"There's only going to be between eight and ten questions and should only take a handful of minutes to complete."

The survey is expected to start at the end of the month with a cross section of the community being called, half from the areas that half already changed over and the rest from other neighbourhoods.
