Though Moose Jaw City Manager Matt Noble submitted his resignation last fall, a full time replacement has yet to be hired.

Noble finished his role earlier this month, and while we have Myron Gulka-Tiechko acting as our City Manager, they're still looking for their next candidate.

The City has even brought on a group to help find Noble's full time replacement.

"Well we've hired a recruiting group you know to deal with that," explained Mayor Fraser Tolmie. "They specialize in municipal affairs so they've been out advertising, they've been knocking on doors, talking to people. So we're very, very close and excited and they've been actually very helpful."

The City is going to be conducting interviews soon and wants to close the gap in that position as soon as possible, but they currently don't have a timeline on when a replacement will come in.

"It's a Council decision, right, so that's our one employee so we make a decision of who we hire," Tolmie said. "It's through the Personnel Committee."
