As we move into the final days of 2018 a few reminders about City of Moose Jaw services.

  • City Hall is open December 27th and 28th, and closes at noon on December 29th.  It reopens January 2nd.
  • The Moose Jaw landfill is open on regular hours with the exception of January 1st when it is closed.
  • Bus service continues December 27-31st.  There is no service on January 1st, but the "Ding in the New Year" program will be happening on New Years Eve.  That means free city bus service on regular routes from 7:55pm till 2:30am.

As far as recreation services are concerned, there are several free public skating sessions at all city rinks.

The Yara Centre is open regular hours December 27-30th, closed at 3pm December 31st, and closed for the entire day January 1st.  Regular hours resume January 2nd.

And over at the Kinsmen Sports Plex families can bring in 2018 at the 22nd annual First Night Celebration starting at 7pm December 31st.  Details on that event can be found here.
