Two City of Moose Jaw public works employees have received industry awards for their outstanding service to the profession.

At their recent convention, the Saskatchewan Public Works Association recognized Mark Caringal as Public Works Person of the Year for his coordination of three major inter-related projects in the city.

Travis LeBlanc, who was the project manager for the 2020 Cast Iron Watermain Replacement Program, also received the Award of Merit.

In a statement, City Manager Jim Puffalt thanked both Caringal and LeBlanc for their dedication and efficiency.
