With warmer weather and plans for the summer being made, thoughts are turning to fun in the sun and here in Moose Jaw that might soon include a new rule for bicycle helmets.

The Transportation Services Advisory Committee has been working on reviewing the Traffic Bylaw and considering a change that could make it mandatory for all residents under 18 years of age to wear a bike helmet while riding.

The motion came from a recent meeting but the overall review of the bylaw hasn't been finished so the decision is still up for potential discussions before final approval from city council is needed.
