Hoping to inspire residents and local officials, the City of Moose Jaw has brought an international presenter to the Friendly City.

Gair Maxwell is an international speaker and will be discussing a number of topics Tuesday night for anyone interested in attending his 'Branding Highways' presentation.

"When people of Moose Jaw come to the Branding Highway and see this presentation, they will see very vividly how the theories are quite unconventional, but no one can say they don't work. What we discovered is that these are the same theories that have built some of the best brands in the world," explained Maxwell. "It doesn't matter whether it's a company, a career, or a community, what we share in this Branding Highway which is a metaphorical exploration of possibility, we share all of these ideas that others have used. Yes, the big companies have used these exact same theories."

The reason for Maxwell being invited to our city came from the leader of Moose Jaw, Mayor Fraser Tolmie, who was able to catch his presentation last year and thought it would be beneficial for locals to hear it too.

"Fraser saw something on the Branding Highway visit back in June in the Queen City, that he thought was very applicable for business owners, civic leaders, and to really start a dialogue about what is possible."

Anyone who would like the be at "Branding Highways" Tuesday night is required to pre-register and can do so by clicking here.
