As of Tuesday morning, The City of Moose Jaw has begun the process of fixing and rehabilitating High Street.

After months of divots and complete avoidance of the street, the City and their hired contractor will be making moves to return the street to better conditions.

The City began the initial stages of their work with some site maintenance and lateral and main sanitary line camera operations.

While the work has begun, a timeline isn't available just yet, and site testing, excavation and compaction work has to take place before paving can even begin. One a timeline is made, all residents, business and property owners will be made aware of it.

A reminder also that all High St. businesses remain operational during this time, and will continue to serve residents and visitors.

As always, make sure to pay attention to signage and use caution when approaching or driving near any construction zone.
