More land in the new industrial park has been earmarked for a project.  As we wait for something to happen with Canadian Protein Innovation, we've learned the city has agreed to sell a parcel of land to SaskEnergy.

Council passed a motion Monday night to draw up documents that will transfer 5.7 acres of land near the city lagoons to the Crown Corporation for $21,000.

Documents show the land is to be used for a new town border station, a similar station already exists on Thatcher Drive West so this would create a redundancy in the system and ensure reliable natural gas service to the south side of the city.
