A local care home in Moose Jaw will be offering six beds for seniors who wish to find a safe place during the pandemic in anticipation of a provincial lockdown.

Those seniors who stay at Chez Nous will receive the same services as their residents.

Adrian Bohach is the CEO and President of Calgary-based Enterprize4You, the organization that owns Chez Nous, has been paying attention to what is happening in other provinces.

“In anticipation of a provincial lockdown like there is in Ontario and Quebec and likely that there will be in all provinces, we are really sensitive to that. So we’re going to make six beds available for a temporary situation where a family member can have a safe place for their loved one to be at,” said Bohach.

“To seniors who are affected by the COVID situation, this would be seniors that aren’t quite ready to go into a care facility, and being supported by family members or neighbours to make meals or stuff like that,” he said.
