Regina police have laid charges in a homicide investigation that started on June 9th.

20-year old Sylas James Moneybird of Regina has been charged with Robbery with Violence and Manslaughter in the death of 22 year old Jessie Brandon Moneybird, who was found just before midnight on the 9th.He was taken to hospital and later pronounced deceased.

The investigation has revealed Jessie Moneybird was fatally injured in a fight between two groups.

Shortly after, Sylas Moneybird, who was involved in the fight, assaulted and robbed a female.
