Nearly two months after a fatal collision on the TransCanada Highway, east of Morse, charges have now been laid by RCMP.

It was around 10 o'clock at night on February 23rd when a vehicle rolled on Highway 1 with five people inside. Demi McKechnie of Moose Jaw died at the scene while four others were rushed to hospital with various injuries.

Today, RCMP announced that 21 year old Adrian Spencer McLaren of Moose Jaw has been charged with Impaired Driving Causing Death, Impaired Driving Causing Bodily Harm, Operation Over 80 mgs of Alcohol Causing Death, and Operation over 80 mgs of Alcohol Causing Bodily Harm.  

He's expected to make his first court appearance in Swift Current provincial court May 16th.
