COVID-19 has had big impacts on global markets, healthcare systems, and it's having an impact at home.

Businesses in Moose Jaw have seen an impact on their overall revenue.

CEO of the Moose Jaw Chamber of Commerce Rob Clark detailed more on the impacts.

"Some of them have been impacted and sales have been down in the restaurant and food industry. They used to have full houses last week and now with all the news that's out there they are down to a handful of people. So those are some big impacts."

Clark added that the Chamber is very concerned about local businesses.

"As we forge forward during this, more and more people will be staying home and that's another impact on small businesses. We here at the chamber are very very concerned about that. Some of these people have poured their heart and soul into it and their life savings. We're here to support them in any way we can so if you're listening make sure you call the chamber. we have some plans in place and maybe we can help you or at least give you the proper resources."

Clark added they are working on sending out surveys to better understand the impact on local businesses.
