Local Chinese artist, Mr. Laosen, recently created a snow sculpture in front of his house.

He spent 5 days carving a snow cat sculpture from a mountain of snow in his front yard.

In an effort to spread hope and joy over the holidays, he named the piece of art, 守护平安的大猫 - which translates to "The big cat guarding peace".

Laosen spent about 1.5 hours a day working on the sculpture as neighbors and passersby stopped by to enjoy from a distance, and take pictures with the snow cat.

He also invited members of the community to drive by the snow cat, which is located at 43 Buttercup Crescent.
