Cassidy Evans and her family raised $12,678 to help fight Cystic Fibrosis this past weekend.

Nine-year old Cassidy suffers from CF and this was the third year for "Cassidy's Lemonade Stand" since the family moved to Moose Jaw in 2014.

Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disorder mostly affecting the lungs, making it difficult to breathe, causing lung infections, and can also affect other internal organs.

In 2015 they took in over $7,500, in 2016 over $10,000 was raised, and this year another new fundraising record was set.

The family estimates that 1,500 glasses of lemonade were sold between Friday and Saturday, and many customers chose to donate more than simply the cost of the beverage.
