Two individuals have been charged in relation to the disappearance of a missing Humboldt man.

On February 29, 2020, the Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit North arrested two individuals in relation to the disappearance of 20-year-old Allan Douglas Garrioch (who also used the surname Glasier) of Humboldt, Saskatchewan.

On Sunday, March 1 investigators conducted a number of ground searches in the RM of Bayne, SK. Early morning on March 2, human remains were discovered in the area. A forensic autopsy will be required to confirm the identity of the deceased.

21-year-old Tristan Daniel Morrison of Saskatoon, SK, has been charged with:

  • First-degree murder Indignity to a body
  • Kidnapping while using a firearm Forcible confinement
  • Break and enter and commit
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Two counts, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Disguise with intent 

23-year-old Joshua Dominic Canevaro of Saskatoon, SK, has been charged with:

  • Kidnapping while using a firearmForcible confinement
  • Break and enter and commit
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Two counts, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

Both appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court Monday morning.

There will be a continued police presence near the Hamlet of Dana, SK. There is no risk to public safety. Passersby are asked to respect any direction provided by police.

The investigation is ongoing.
