"Kicking off the Jubilee is a Greek band called Arkadia. We have African and Japanese drummers performing, a French blues singer, a Korean instrumental group, and many vibrant dancers showcasing Scotland, Ireland, Greece, India, the Caribbean, Ukraine, First Nations and the Philippines"

"Admission is $5 and kids 6 and under get in for free. Doors open at 11 am, opening ceremonies are at 12:30 which includes a parade of nations. We have a kids corner with activities from 2 to 4, and we have the Lakota Nation – they will have buffalo hide and buffalo skull art, and they will teach how to do beading."

The day's events will take place at the Prince of Wales curling rink in Assiniboia.

"It's a nice big event that we're putting on for the community, it's our third time doing this. We'll have a variety of imported wine, beer and imported liquor as well."
