Canada Border Services Agency again tweeting the hashtag #LeaveYourGunsAtHome after a seizure at a Saskatchewan border crossing earlier this month.

On September 3rd, officers at the North Portal border crossing discovered an undeclared .38 caliber revolver.

The U.S. resident who was crossing the border was arrested, and she paid a $1,000 penalty. She was then returned to the United States.

The CBSA launched a forearms awareness campaign earlier this year encouraging American travelers coming to Canada to check the local gun laws, and in many cases, leave guns at home when coming to Canada.
