An Easter Service was held last night at the Mae Wilson Theatre, with two more services planned for today at 9:00 am and 11:00 am.

The Church of God put on the service and Lead Pastor Larry Hasmatali explained why they host it at the Mae Wilson. "One of the things we love to do at Church of God Moose Jaw, is to take our church beyond the walls of our building and take it into the community; and so every year we say Easter at the Mae Wilson and it's one of our ways of doing something beyond our church."

The service is nearly 65 minutes long and full of life changing message, Associate Pastor Michael Bueck spoke on what the service consists of. "We have our very own youth group that is performing a drama. We have a dance program that is called born to dance with over 300 students and so one of our students is going to be performing. A mix of that and some of our worship songs and Pastor Larry will be bringing a word from the scriptures as well."

Hasmatali noted that the service is designed so everyone can enjoy it, even if one doesn't attend church often.
