Every June, the members of Hunger in Moose Jaw come together to have an annual general meeting, where they discuss how the year went, as well as plans for the future.

Sharla Sept, the executive director of the non-profit organization, says that they had a very successful year.

"Some of the highlights included another successful 'I Bought a Lunch Campaign' which raised over $65,000. Usually, our goal was $50,000 and we raised way over, so that is fantastic."

Hitting $15,000 over their goal was something Sept, as well as the whole organization, is very proud of.

The next fundraiser Hunger in Moose Jaw has planned is called 'Fall into Fabric' which will begin on September 15th.

Sept goes on to add that none of this would be possible without the help they receive from the community.

'our funding stays solid because of the support we get from our cooperations and also from the community and the different supporters we have out in community members.'

Hunger in Moose Jaw is celebrating their 25th anniversary this year and will be hosting a celebration for the occasion in November.
