Five people were taken to hospital after a crash on the TransCanada near Pilot Butte, east of Regina Wednesday evening. Two of those people are said to be in serious but stable condition.

RCMP were called to the scene around 5:30 when two vehicles collided.  The area was blocked off for some time as patients were treated and police investigated. No word on a cause just yet.

Two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries earlier in the day after a single vehicle roll over just east of Chaplin. We're being told the vehicle from Alberta lost control and rolled down a 60 foot embankment on the TransCanada.  Emergency crews say a passenger was able to climb out of the wreckage but the male passenger had to be freed by a rescue team.
