The saying goes in the Human Resource world, "even one injury is too much" but the latest report from the Saskatchewan Workers Compensation Board is showing our province can do a much better job.

27 people died on the job last year in Saskatchewan and more than 22,000 were injured. Officials are calling for action from employers and the province saying more needs to be done to keep employees safe.

The board has set a goal of trying to reduce those numbers by 30% in the next three years.
