Over 700 people are visiting Moose Jaw for the Saskatchewan Senior Fitness Association 55 Plus Provincial Games that started Tuesday morning. Events include 8-ball, track and field, swimming, cribbage, and pickleball to name a few.

Crystal Froese, Host Committee Vice Chairperson of the games, said the events really get a chance to show off Moose Jaw.

"This event is spread out in all different locations, everything from Gutheridge Field to Dooly's for 8-ball to the school divisions, the baseball fields and everything in between."

The games run through Thursday when the closing ceremonies are being held. Spectators are not only welcome but encouraged to come out and support the athletes, and events are free to get into.
