800 CHAB, Country 100, Mix 103, and Canadian Tire partnered up again to spend Friday and Saturday collecting donation for their annual Toy Days.

For their fourth year, they collected toys for the Salvation Army to help make sure every child gets a toy this Christmas season. With the help of the community, the donations were doubled this year, and four bins were filled compared to the two last year.

"It's absolutely incredible because our numbers have skyrocketed this year and we start to pack toys Monday to Wednesday this week so it's unbelievable," the Salvation Army's Major Wendy Broom exclaimed. "I can't believe how many toys the community has collected for us and we are so thankful."

These donations are important to the Salvation Army, as their numbers have gone up considerably and now help 350 different families.

If you didn't manage to make it to Toy Days this year, you can still drop items off at the Salvation Army office on 175 1st Ave SW or stop by the church on Wintergreen Drive between Monday and Wednesday.
