Today, the Government of Saskatchewan reported four new COVID-19 cases in the province, bringing the total to 1,616.

Two of the new cases are in the South West while the remaining two are in Saskatoon. 

Five more recoveries were also reported, making the active case count, 43.

Three people are currently in hospital, all of which are in Saskatoon. One person is receiving inpatient care and two people are in intensive care.

On Friday, 1,658 COVID-19 tests were performed in the province.
