Announced on Wednesday, the government of Saskatchewan had no daily update for COVID-19 cases on Canada Day. They did, however, maintain the dashboard and the detailed views.

For that reason, some information is still available.

According to the SHA, province-wide there were 34 new cases of the COVID-19 virus reported. That brings the total number of cases to 48,861 with 420 of those considered active.

No breakdown of new case locations is available. However, the Saskatchewan "COVID 19 Cases Per Zone" Map (see below) has been updated.

An additional 22 residents have recovered, while 61 residents remain hospitalized, with 46 receiving inpatient care and 15 in intensive care.

There were no new deaths reported, leaving that total number at 568.

Meanwhile, taking a look at vaccines in the province, 19,834 doses were administered on Canada day, bringing the total number to 1,173,554.'

447,442 residents are considered fully vaccinated.

Full COVID-19 statistics with location breakdowns will be available tomorrow but will return to normal on Monday, July 5th.

On a related note, the Saskatchewan government has said that detailed daily reporting will not be available on Statutory holidays or weekends effective immediately.
