Leather jackets, boots and teddy bears, all for a great cause.

For the last 31 years, motorcyclists have strapped large teddy bears to their bikes and paraded up Main street.

The annual Salvation Army Toy Run kicks off this Saturday at 2 pm, and all are welcome to participate.

Moose Jaw Cycle Association President Murray Roney said all the help they get means a lot.

"Anybody and everybody that does help us with this stuff we really appreciate a lot. You are making a big deal for kids at Christmas who don't have nothing (sic). We appreciate it very much."

Cyclists and spectators alike are encouraged to attend and bring a new unwrapped toy as a donation.

"We're going to start down at the bottom of Manitoba St. and line up. I know the police will be there, and depending on the fire department if they have a call, they usually lead the parade up Main. St. We end up at Salvation Army where we drop off the toys and all the good stuff."

Roney said whatever you can give is appreciated.

"A new toy or a cash donation, whichever you prefer to do. And just meet down there, and be ready to go at 2 o'clock sharp."
