The Moose Jaw Police Service has one man in custody following multiple break ins early in the morning on Thursday. 

According to police, 29-year-old Mitch Prosser from Moose Jaw allegedly drove his vehicle into a residence on the 900 block of Hastings Street around 2 am. They say he broke into the home and robbed the female homeowner. Prosser and the occupant had a previous relationship. He also uttered threats to the homeowner  prior to leaving. 

Following that, Prosser allegedly drove to a second home, this time on the 900 block of Athabasca Street East just two hours later. He broke into the second home and robbed a second female as well. He threatened the female's life with a firearm and also threatened to sexually assault her. 

Police added that the women involved in the incidents were known to each other. 

While attempting to get away and fleeing on foot, Prosser pointed a firearm at the police. Officers later found him at a home on the 900 block of Edmonton Street around 7:30 am Thursday morning, and arrested him 3 blocks away after fleeing on foot. 

No injuries were reported and Police found the firearm he allegedly used in the home at which he was arrested. 

Prosser is now in custody and will appear in front of a judge Friday morning facing 15 charges, which include:

-2 counts of Break and Enter and commit Robbery

-2 counts of Uttering Death threats

-2 counts of Breach of Probation

-1 counts of Sexual Assault with a weapon

-1 count of Forcible Confinement

-1 count of Dangerous Operation of a Motor vehicle

-1 count of Assault Police Officer with a Weapon

-1 count of Willful Damage over $5,000 charges related to possession and use of a firearm
