18 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Saskatchewan Wednesday, along with 30 recoveries.

363 cases are considered active right now, and 54 people are in hospital with nine of those in intensive care.

The South Central zone is reporting no new cases, Regina is reporting six new cases, Saskatoon and the South East zone are both reporting three new cases, 2 new cases are being reported in the Far North West and the Far North East, and the North West Zone and North Central Zone are reporting one new case each.

Two of the active cases are located in the sub-region 'south-central 2,' which is made up of Moose Jaw and the surrounding area.

Thursday there will be a booked appointment Pfizer clinic at the Moose Jaw Exhibition Grounds from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. 

Vaccines Reported

An additional 6,358 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 1,313,423.

The additional 6,358 doses of COVID-19 vaccine reported today were administered to residents living in the following zones: Far North West, 50; Far North Central, 6; Far North East, 45; North West, 770; North Central, 525; North East, 193; Saskatoon, 1,677; Central West, 164; Central East, 410; Regina, 1,260; South West, 347; South Central, 200; and South East, 428.  There were 283 doses administered with zone of residence pending.

Seventy-three per cent of those 12+ have received their first dose and 56 per cent of those 12+ are fully vaccinated.
